rear diff moove in bulkhead ???????
 

I'am to rebuild my 3.3, and yesterday i've put new diff and new bulkhead.
In the front, the diff is very tight fit in the bulkhead, fit perfectly, but in rear, the diff have lot of free play (up and down when i take the output with finger and try to moove it up and down).

The little plastic pin who snap in the frame to block the diff moovement in the bulkhead is brand new, try to re-install the hold bulkhead, but nothing to do, always the same problem.

is somebody have this issue too or could give me somes tips:neutral:

It's okay, that play will go away when you assemble the rest of the truck. I'm not sure why it moves, but I assume Traxxas made it that way so you can remove the diff without taking out the bulkhead. When I ripped off half of my rear bulkhead I had the same thing happen to me. I just kept going and it was solid by the time I was done. I've ran it since then and it's fine.

Make sure the diff is in the right way. That reminds me, I need to check mine to make sure I installed mine correctly, haha. Is this on an E-Revo? I would say take it apart again and take some pictures of the whole assembly process for us to take a look at.

I had a nitro revo for 2 years before, and nothing have probles with this , but now, i've buy a used revo (a piece of scrap:whistle:) and order for $300 of new parts, including frame, bulkhead, aluminium diff cup, pushrod and turnbukkles, and convert it to electric.

But this rear diff make me sleep at 2:00AM for past three nights.

I think i'll run it like that and see what appen

The diffs can be flipped, so it that doesn't matter. Usually I would think it would be the clip, however you said its installed and brand new...I'm not really sure what it could be. Theres not really much room for movement to begin with...

Which brand is the best aluminum diff cup for the Revo. I found some HR one's pretty cheap as well as the Nova's.

The Integy diff cups seem to be the most popular. There are also 3racing diff cups and few other companies that make the cups.

I've the RD racing in mine, $23.00 for both and it's the first upgrade i bought in past 3 years that fit right without to having to gring or dremel anything.

This RD diff cups is realy well built.
