What size is the Traxxas Velineon Motor's rotor?

I am wondering if anyone has took theirs apart and measures it? I run mine today against my 4600 mamba max and i believe its stronger, Makes me think the rotors bigger, Like a fegaio S maybe. I got eagletree data on both my T4 ans SRT, and with taller gearing on identical tires, the srt pulls about 20 watts higher than the 4600 The total ratio on the srt is 9.72723:1 and the T4 is 10.31621:1, if that matters. I have heard the traxxas motor is fegaio made, so that would make me think the rotor is a 540 size.

any input guys?

Looks like there are more coil wires and the rotor magnet (not including the end plates) is larger on the V, so it makes sense that it's stronger than the MM. From just the size/build, I would say the V is about midway between a regular S and L motor.

Looks like a diameter difference and a length difference, that explains the 200 watt difference i see in my data. thanks guys

Spot on again Brian - The Feigao guy that i was IM'ing said it was indeed between an S and an L...

Like that would ever happen. Guess you could call the velineon an 'M' sized feigao?
