question about diff velosity's
 

Just what does the diff fluid do, does the different velosity's make the diff hook up at different rpm's? For example I have 5,000 front, 10,000 rear does the front diff work before the rear because it has lighter fluid?

Short answer: thicker fluid resists the differential action.
