MGM 16016 just took a dump

Hi all,

Early today I got my Mr.C's MBX5T all ready and I decided to use my Spektrum DX3 controller instead of my Airtronics M8. I hooked it to the battery packs and I was going to change a setting and It went ok. So I turned the everything on and it armed ok and I drove it for a sec. I went to turn it on a few minutes ago to get a reading with my DPR on the power the SV27 motor was cranking out and the MGM didn't arm. The red light comes on and the servo works, but the controller won't do anything. I tried it with my JR radio and nothing. I also tried with the M8 and same thing, nothing. Has anybody had the same problem?

The only thing I can think of is to set the EPA and trim to 0 and try to recalibrate the radio, but the chances of that being the problem is slim. Dumb question, but do you have the throttle cable plugged into the receiver the right way?

The setting on the radios was all good. I have everything connected the right way. I just put my Schulze 18.97 and it is running fine with the JR radio. I will contact Ing. Grisa Dvorsky to see if he can upgrade the 16016 to the newer versions.

Hmm, that sucks. Must just be a lemon...

That is what I'm thinking, but it was working great. It ran so cool when I had the Aveox in my truck. It also liked the SV27 motor as well.

I have a dumb question, how do you know which is the correct way? I have a new received, and I don't see any marks telling me which way neg should be. Is there common knowledge, like, do they want the signal wire on the inside?

Normaly, the ground (black wire) is the pin far right, when you look your reciever in face.

He told me it could not be. There are hardware differences. He could only update the software.

The problem might be something else. I spoke with one of his employee and I will have to send it in.
