It looks sweet, but all I can tell on it is a big Lehner motor and Thunder Power battery. Is that a Schultz ESC?

skellyo 10.22.2007 11:06 PM

I think so....looks like a 40160 to me. Of course, I'm not real knowledgeable on Schulze, so maybe someone else could verify that.

zeropointbug 10.22.2007 11:18 PM

A 3040 Lehner? Come one, that is just stupid.... there is crazy stupid fast, then this is another stupid level over that, then another level over that.

That motor can put out 8000 watts.

Looks like a FD conversion. Yuck...

MTBikerTim 10.23.2007 12:10 AM

That's a 1/5th scale truck isn't it?

I don't think so, unless he has raised his quality standard. I see the batteries are on a shelf on the rear, not in the center like the B5 he sells. I do not see him doing either a schultze esc or TP packs. unless he figured some one would buy a 3000.00 1/5 scale. besides I think its a euro buggy or truggy

squeeforever 10.23.2007 08:09 AM

It just appeared as though its a FD conversion since it uses the BK motor clamps and FD battery trays.

I want one of these:

It looks similar to the racer made by Thundertech racing.

that thing looks wicked.

hi

the model in the first post is an MCD race runner. a 6th scale 4wd buggy.
i think a 3040 is an adequate motor for such a car and the 40.160 schulze esc also. i guess 6th scale brushless conversions will be more common soon.

i saw that thing there and up close it looks like the size of the coffee mug almost.

jhautz 10.23.2007 08:14 PM

I saw it and they said they did it themselves. When I pressed them and told them that it looked like a FD conversion they then admitted that he had "helped" them. Which I took to mean, he suppled everything and they installed it. :mdr:

It looked like a nice truck. It was the 160/40 schultz, but I dont remember which LMT motor it was (900 somthing kv I remeber him saying). they were running 2 6s 5000mah ThunderPower packs in parralell and they said that they got aroun 15-20 minute run times on it and that it was faster than the gas buggy.

Intersting, but very $$$. He told me $3000+ for that thing. Jeez, I coult put a rx in an old Yugo for that.
