Can i bend wire on Neu motor?
 

The 3 power wires on my controler i very tight to reach my Neu motor output wires.
If i bend the motor wires, maybe i'll can reach it with the ESC wires, and i don't have any other place to put the controler.
? is, can i bend the output motor wires at 90 degree???

I don't see any reason not - they are just wires...they are attached to your motor, but are otherwise just wires...

Yes, but this wire seem to have solder on it i suppose because they are very hard to bend.
So i'll bend it and if i don't have any longer wire, i'll solder bullet conector on it, this will gie me an extra 1/2 inch.
I'll don't want to use connector between controller and motor, prefer to direct solder, but if the wires is not long enough, i'll don't have the choice.

It's OK to bend them, but if you bend them several times, you could start to crack the metal. Just make sure you know where your motor and ESC will go before you bend them.

I am not sure how many times you can bend copper wire, as it is pretty darn malleable. But, because of fact that it is in a large bundle with around 10 individual wires, this makes it more stressful than a single strand.

Just try and do a 'long' 90*.... don't make it a sharp 90*.

I would recommend you solder in a short section of wire or replace your ESC wires with longer ones. The Neu wires are not easily bendable and you can stress the windings if you don't properly do it.

My neu 1515 1y has wires that are probably about 1 inch long and they are completely saturated with solder making them very very stiff. I am pretty confident that if I put a 90 degree bend in them it will crack the solder possibly taking some of the copper strands with it.

I have bent mine 90* but as mentioned... I would not reccomend repeated bends back and forth. I have bent mine back a couple times when I swapped vehicles, etc. But I don't like doing that.

Neu does also say to not put a lot of stress on the wires, to prevent damage to the windings. Just a general caution... so keep that in mind when bending them. I used a pair of needle nose to hold the wire close to the can, rather than just bending them without any support.

Neu 1515/1y wires are 1 1/4 inches

MGM 160/18 is 3 1/2 inches long. I bent them slightly:

Thank you guys for your repply, but if my wires is very too far from the motor, can i solder some littles pieces of extra wires to "lenghten" it by about one inch or two?

Sure... you could add some length of wire, however much you need.

Those bullet connectors also don't have to be soldered directly in line (straight) onto the wires. I have, on a few occassions, soldered the connectors onto the leads at 90* angles.
