couldnt hurt

you might have to lose the RC-Monster heatsink/motor brace on fegaio's, other than that, couldn't hurt

I wouldn't get that. The reason there is an extra fan that stick out from the heatsink is to cool the endbell on a brushed motor.

If you want two fans, its better to get two of these:

That way, more heat is drawn from the motor into the heatsinks, which are then cooled.

Personally, I would get the RCM heatsink. Best of the best.

I did'n t see that one. Thank's LOL

Squee i already have mike's mount & it's awsome. I was just thinking this would be a easy way to put a fan on my 1950-8t motor, Because the lehner has a screwed on end bell I really dont need a clamp.

This motor probably wont even need a fan.

Those fans are exactly the same as the Integy fans. IME they are VERY fragile - not really "clip-on" heatsinks. The fan will snap in half if you try to "clip" them on, they need to be slid on. Or you can remove the fan each time you attach/remove it, but that's a PITA.

Hey I just noticed something. Those fans have a plate between them and the heatsink. That could help with the clip-on issue. The Integy versions dont use the plate, unless they've changed since I had mine.

I thought that it looks familiar . I was just wondering people's thoughts were on it .

i considered using them on an XL sized lehner basic motor. i would use some silicone paste to get a good connection between the case and the heatsink.

Can anyone tell me how big the fan is on this heat sink, & if i would need two of these to fit a xl sized motor or just one ?. Thank you

Looks just like my 40x40mm 5v fans, and you would need two really, though the RCM heat sink/clamp would be better with a couple of those or one 50mm fan.

EDIT: Oh, on a lehner then get two of those heatsink & fan jobbies, no need for the clamp.

I agree with you on mikes mount being better, & would like to use it. But his heatsink does not fit my 1950 the same way it fits my 9XL for some reason. It fits my 9XL perfectly with no gaps, but on my 1950 i cant get his clamp to sit all the way down, thous it leaves a small gap between the top of the motor & the clamp. I think i know what the problem is. I measured my 9xl it is 35.8mm & the 1950 is 36.6mm in diamiter just enough so his clamp wont fit.

Well, it has fans so I automatically don't like it.
