vantage racing chassis

just wondering what people thought about the vantage racing cf revo 3.3 chassis. right now i have a 2.5 revo and befor i go brushless in it i want to get a 3.3 chassis but i was thinking of getting the vantage racing chassis or should i just get the stock one?

thanks

a friend at my track bought one and it made his revo handle awesome, then it cracked in a few spots and he went back with the stock chassis.

did it crack on the edges or like in the middle? cause i know if you dont glue the sides of the cf then it well crack.

I hear they are very fragile

not sure where it cracked, but i do remember it started with a small crack and then another crack somewhere else and so on until it wasn't usable anymore.

God, Vantage are like kids who just discovered something which they don't understand :intello:
I always thought that making A-Arms, whole Chassis plates, spoilers and tuned pipes out of memory carbon is a bad idea, guess I was right

alright thanks for the info i think i well just go with the stock 3.3 chassis.

I wouldn't even go to that expense. I have one of each, a 2.5 and a 3.3, and if there's any handling different, it's not noticable. I think the 2.5 corners a little better in fact, if you're into racing. If you're bashing, only do it if you want to say you have a 3.3. Spend that money on a better brushless motor or controler. My 2 cents anyway...

I've heard about the same problems with the Vantage by the way.

the reason i was going to go with the 3.3 cause it had more room for the lipo. but if i can make
everthing fit with the 2.5 chassis i might just save some money and just keep it then.

and yah i did notice it cornered a lot better then the 3.3 cause my friend has a 3.3 and my 2.5 can take the corners a lot faster then he can.
