Steel Idlers use grease?

Hey I just got some of the steel Idlers for my emaxx (stripped an old one) and am realizing that there is now metal to metal in the gear box. Should I use grease? I'm afraid to do so because I've heard negative things about nylon gears and grease.

I used to grease mine. Never had a problem. I say it cant hurt, but you only need a light coating.

You need to use grease, the tamiya ceramic grease works well on metal to metal contact and makes the mesh feel very smooth too.

Ok sounds good I figured I needed it but was hesitant. I get some at my LHS tomorrow. Thanks for the help!
