Base loaded antenna

I have read several thread about radio interference, antenna placement and evena few on trying to hide the antenna.

Has anyone tried a base loaded antenna?

I like the new non interference 2.4 GHz radios. Their RX's have very short antenna on them. no more drilling antenna holes in the body!

that thing sucks. i tired it on my drift car one time and i did not even get that far befor it stated to go crazy.

they work really good on planes though lol.
