squeeforever 07.10.2005 01:40 PM

auto2 07.10.2005 01:52 PM

thanks. so that has to go.LOL!
Hey MIKE! do you make house calls???

squeeforever 07.10.2005 02:23 PM

yea, that really needs to go. especially if you have brushless. i would recommend the strobe slipper or the robinson slipper. both are good. strobes a little better

auto2 07.11.2005 05:20 PM

OK so I have the stock spur(66?) with a 13 tooth pinion. the strobe is going to end up 51 ? so I need a larger pinion....

strobe is 51 and robinson is 71?

maxxdude1234 07.11.2005 05:25 PM

wrong....you need a smaller one. I just worked out that a 13/66 = 10/51 almost exactly. Therefore you will need a 10 tooth pinion (Mod 1) with the strobe slipper.

auto2 07.11.2005 05:36 PM

yea your right. I have to see if I have enough room to move the motor in enough in the adj slots. Maybe the robinson with a larger spur will be less work ah I guess it depends on what mike has in stock..

squeeforever 07.11.2005 10:01 PM

the robinson is a 66 tooth

coolhandcountry 07.22.2005 08:07 PM

If you buy the robinson. Stay with the plastic spur. The metal spur 65tooth will wear out pinions fast.

Serum 07.23.2005 03:38 AM

yes, a metall spur is not good for non hardened pinions. They can be stripped in 1-2 drive sessions..

squeeforever 07.24.2005 12:43 PM

are robinson pinions hardened?
