My Mini T
Ive had this truck for about a year now, but I think its finally worth posting about.
I never took pictures of it stock, but here is how it looked for a long while: http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000332.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000334.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000343.jpg Pretty much all graphite, aluminum and titanium, 3s lipo and a mamba 6800. It was fast, good looking, and reliable. So of course I couldnt just leave it how it was. So I turned it into this: http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000373.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000370.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000363.jpg I had 2s and 3s 2000mAh TP lipos, so I wired them up in series and swapped in the quark 33 from my mlst, and these are still spinning the original mamba 2068. I dont expect that to last too long (119000 motor rpm). I combined 2 integy graphite chassis' to make what you see here. The only stock parts left are the front arms and the body mounts. The turnbuckles, hingepins, cvds, and front bumper/ skidplate are all titanium, all of the hardware is steel, and everything else is red or silver aluminum. Steering is handled by a hs65mg, and the ubec is from mike. I haven't had a chance to test it out in the open yet, but indoors it ran reliably and relatively cool. Ill try to get video when I do really test it. |
Looks good, it'd be nice if you had a body that actually fit the truck though. Should be pretty damn insane once you finally get it out for a good test. Oh yeah, and I like how all your RC's carry on the same color scheme, makes it look nice.
