Quark seemingly FRIED
 

I was running my truck at the beech today. It was running great. Big rooster from proline paddle, great hill climbs, Wheelies on command on the harderpack. It did thermal after 15 min of extreme running. Once it cooled , I was back at it seemingly fine.THEN, It stopped dead. After inspection I noticed 2 of the three connecters from the Wonderer 8xl were exposed perhaps? touching. The Quark 125b smelled very electrical. Would that short the Quark into oblivion? There are no lights or beeps in the quark now. seemingly dead. past any warrenty. Batteries are fine.

Another one bites the dust.

If the outputs touched when the quark was on and you were running it may have shorted the output stage, or blew a few fets. That sucks!

Send it to Arthur, he'll turn it into a phase pistol for you for $50....

I thought he could only do that with Schulzes.. It's the german engineering that makes the heart of a phase pistol ticks..

Who is Arthur. ? I have e-mailed Quark to see if they can look at or repair. It is a shame. In the future I will tape all connections. Thinking about a more effecient motor / perhaps Neo. ( from Mike of coarse) For sand running which one would you guys reccomend.

Quite true Neil, for the low price of 50 bucks he turned my MM into a paperweight!!

All kidding aside he may be able to fix the quark and do the heat mod at the same time. His screen name is griffinru on this forum. Hit him up with a pm and see what he can do for you. If not I have heard that quark's service is pretty good.
