Stampede Body Mounts..
 

Does anyone know a site where I can buy aluminum front/back body mounts for a xl-1 stampede? i can find the integy shock towers that come with them, but none sold seperately. I plan on buying the stampede super chasis kit but want to be sure to have all the addons before buying the chassis..

i would suggest keeping the stock plastic ones they'll supply a little give when the truck takes a tumble.

NewEra has some available.

I agree with rootar. You want plastic in places where there is a lot of instant shock. With aluminum body posts, there'd be a much greater chance of not only bending the posts, but also ripping through the body because they can't flex.

Just want to throw this in there, the same thing applies to aluminum bumpers...

Just my 2c I run the Ali Bumpers on the revo but with plastic mounts to soa up the shock of the inevitable crashes - That works good for me...
