CRT.5 - anyone running these items....
 

Is anyone here running a neu in a crt.5 with Mike's endbell cover? If so, what motor mount (Mike's?) and did you have any clearance issues with the endbell cover and the chassis?

I'm asking because when I attempt to install my 1506 with the endbell cover there isn't enough room below the chassis for the motor to line up with the lousy motor mount I have. I can always dremel, but I'd rather have an excuse to buy Mike's motor mount...:whistle:

I made my own mount so no clearence problems with the Neu with the cover if you have a finned can no problem with the smooth can the cover is about 3/16ths larger then the motor can and clearence might be a problem depending on your mount? Mikes mount should be no problem with clearence though the motor sits high enough to clear.:)

Yeah, I just broke down and ordered Mike's motor mount. Mine looks like poo anyways so it will be a nice upgrade...
