A New Tool for Me!
 

I don't know what you guys have in your tool box, but if you're always taking em apart and putting em together like me. Then let me suggest, you need one of these.

I cut the bend off some allen wrenches. The chuck on this locks when it's not under power. Just break em loose and run em on out. When tightening just let off when you feel the end is near, then put the final twist on with the grip. It works good and REALLY speeds things up. Just thought I would pass this along.

I also have a similar tool, but it is a drive, not a drill. It is the skill ixo, or somethink like that, has a lipo battery and really saves time, especially with a complete teardown and rebuild! I like your idea with the allen keys. You can also buy the hardened tips for the losi hand drivers and use them the same way. They will last longer and not strip out the fastners so often.

I also use the allen bits sometimes, but they won't get at those hard to reach places. :lol:

This thing is a 2 speed. 1st gear is only 195rpm, so it's pretty controllable.

Canadian tire had a big sale for those VPX cordless tools last week... it's over now... it's a nice colour scheme

that works flawless; i bought a set of L allen keys with an extra long handle, simple cut of the small part of the L and you have a nice and long allen key for your powerdrill.
