what tires are you running? they look huge and stable at higher speeds. how fast is it going also?

themadbaja 01.06.2008 09:16 PM

I am running these

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXHLK5&P=7

I think its going around 55

sikeston34m 01.07.2008 12:38 AM

Can I drive it?

That does look like a torque monster. I liked how you were lifting the wheels and rocking it while going down the road.

Big Tires. Aren't they alot heavier than the stock wheels?

That thing rips!! I'd love to get my hands on one of these. Do you know if the Velineon ESC is waterproof like the EVX-2?

t-maxxracer32 01.07.2008 02:34 AM

im going to say it is not because i am reading all the specs about it on tower and it doesnt say anything about it being waterproof.

i am sure that would be one of the first things mentioned.

that truck is insane though.

do the bigger tires help with getting higher speeds? (i think the bigger tires means higher resolutions or some BS like that)

Patrick 01.07.2008 03:00 AM

Bigger tires are like geared up. Since the tire circumference is bigger the car will travel further from the same number of wheel rpm. Gearing up is better though, because big heavy wheels take more power to turn.

The ESC are Waterproof now.. I stuffed them full of Dielectric Grease.

Yes those wheels are little heaver but not much.

last night I ran 56(Jator Gear) 22t Pinion. and it did 64mph Verified .. was in my buddy F-150 and I drove the emaxx down a long road. The wheel about blew off the rims I could on get it to 64mph for like 1-3 seconds very hard to control!

They do appear to be waterproof. I don't know if I would submerge it for any length of time, but if you look closely you can see that it does have a small rubber seal around the edge of the bottom case. It also has a similar seal around the heatsink.

I took mine apart and filled it dielectric grease so its good for some mudd slinging

BlackedOutREVO 01.07.2008 09:12 PM

DANG! That thing has some power! I do have to admit, its a nice set up, it rips, I never thought it would be that powerful...

themadbaja 01.07.2008 09:50 PM

BlackedOutREVO 01.07.2008 09:54 PM

themadbaja 01.07.2008 10:02 PM

TRAXROB 01.08.2008 02:28 AM
