Advice from touring car guys

I have a Kyosho KX-one touring car, i am setting up for parking lot bashing and possibly racing. I need the front foam and upper support with body mounts, the car is other wise complete. Do i really need the foam in the front? I could just use associated front mounts on the lower bumper. Does the foam really protect that much? I can't find the parts through retailers or kyosho, going to check Ebay for possible leads. If someone has a KX-one with spaer parts, I need part #119 (top bumper mount) and part #120 (foam bumper)

thanks for any info.

You can often get generic foam from some of the hop up manufacturers and cut to fit. They offer a lot of protection, and can keep flimsy bodies supported at high speeds if trimmed for tight fit to body.

I love the KX-One. I have three of them. I don't run them anymore because for some reason brushless seems to be too powerfull for them.
