Neu/Esc Combo?

Hey guys, ive searched the forums and found good information but theres still a few questions i have. I have a converted a Revo to electric and i want to use a Neu motor and Esc im going to be using a TrueRC 4s2p 8000mAH Lipo Pack. i keep reading about the MGM16018 controller. Would that be the best controller to get? and i cant find a single website or price for that controller anyone have somewhere i can look at it and the specs? Also whats the best Neu motor i should get for a revo the 1515? Thanks for all your suggestions.

do you plan on only running 4s? or might you step up to 5s or 6s in the future. If you know you will only ever run 4s then get the 1515 1.5d, if you might run 5s or 6s in the future look at the 1515 1y. I have not run and MGM controller yet, but from what i've read here and a few people that i know that run them it will be my choice for my e-revo unless the MMM makes it out in the next month.

Ok i thought that was the one just in the pic it says 16016 so sorta threw me off:P so which neu motor do you guys think i should use and is the mgm16018 the best controller to use?

i have the teckno conversion kit so i can only use 1 battery which is fine for me so i have to work with that.

I would use the Neu 1515 2.5D it is 1700KV, they run very smooth on the MGMs and Quarks, I prefer quark because their service is 4 to 8 times faster than MGM

yeh, i just heard they run hotter than the mgms

That is true, and you are limited to 125A and 5s (the specs say 6s, but it is usually finniky with 6s). If you are willing to possibly void the warranty, the heat issues can be virtually eliminated with the "internal mod" (do a search to find info on that), and adding a little extra heatsinking.

I personally like the Quarks. They run smooth as silk with the Neu motor. I have never run the MGMs so I can't comment on that...

hopefully more people will reply and let me know some insight on the mgms as well then

Try this for specs: http://mgm-compro.com/index.php?tid=...ics-for-models

I have just purchased a MGM 16018 from them directly. I probably should have waited for Rc-monster to get them back in stock, but was in a hurry.
From what little I have ran this I can tell you it doesnt cogg at low speed, even compaired to my Novak HV its just a smooth. The size is better than expected, and I'm very pleased overall. I'm using 4s lipo on both a Neu 1512 2.5 and 1515 1Y motors. I prefer the 1515 Y due to the sheer torque. The real downside to this esc is that you really do need the PC software, and cummincation wire. I purchased the Programming card first and did not like it.
