3-5s a123

MTBikerTim 01.16.2008 01:33 AM

Code:

Motor        KV\V        9.9        13.2        16.5
6XL        2,779        27512.1        36682.8        45853.5
7XL        2,382        23581.8        31442.4        39303
8XL        2,084        20631.6        27508.8        34386

Nominal Voltage                3.3

That was me in excel as I already have the figures up and I am interested in running 4s A123 on one of the motors as well.

You will most likely be best off with the 7l on 5sa123. Make sure that you run a 5s2p setup, 2 packs of 5s in parallel, as the 7xl can draw some juice, and a single 5s pack will drop alot of voltae trying to keep up.

zeropointbug 01.16.2008 02:56 AM

what does 3-5s mean? Is this the range you will be running, or you don't know yet?

The 6xl would run far too hot on anything, even the 7xl gets too hot... the 8 or 9xl would be perfect. IMO

1986camaro 01.16.2008 03:01 AM

yeah the 3-5 is my range.thanks

zeropointbug 01.16.2008 03:04 AM

So is it 3, 4, and 5s packs that you will have? Or you will be purchasing a 3, 4, or a 5s pack for this setup?

Sorry for not understanding...

1986camaro 01.16.2008 03:15 AM

yes 3-4-5 and i will be purchasing.

would those axles hold up to brushless

suicideneil 01.16.2008 01:16 PM

I've looked at those many times and wondered the same thing. They are for the original emaxx, not a 3.3spec or the newer 3906 model, but assuming you have an older emaxx, there is no reason why they wont holdup. They look like better made versions of the RC4WD punishershafts, only for an Emaxx.

neweuser 01.16.2008 01:24 PM

I would personally get the 3.3 shafts instead.
