great looking e-maxx! what is your setup going to be for the e-revo?

skellyo 01.21.2008 03:19 PM

Nice looking E-Maxx. I do suggest that you get some aluminum shock caps for those shocks though or you'll end up with shock oil all over that awesome BL setup. It's not a matter of if the caps will pop, it's simply when.

Oh I have a set of proline powerstroke shocks on the way for the Maxx.....My BL 3.3 revo project is: Neu 1515/1y and MGM 160/18 on 5s with tranny locked in second ...

Great looking trucks. How has the drive line of the E-Maxx been holding up to that much power?

austinmaxx 01.21.2008 04:44 PM

So far so good and I like hammering the throttle alot ....4s seem to be safe I am going to try 5s and 6s also just to see how it is....so far I have only broken a hinge pin with the stock titans after hitting a log...

how do you like those traxxas battery connectors?

austinmaxx 01.22.2008 01:52 PM

The traxxas connectors are great alot easier to grab vs deans, it was a little of pain to solder the traxxas connectors at first then I realized that the female and male connectors have different parts if you mix em up they don't work....the little gold bars you solder, have different letters A and B and if you try to slide the A gold bar into the connector that came with B gold bar it won't go in...after I realized this they have been much easier to work with...lol
