Which pinion for e-maxx?

how many teeth should I put on a Feigao 9L in a e-maxx on standard gearing?

Assumeing you using the stock 66t spur & diff, the most poular pinion is 16t & up to 18t. I hope this helps. Mike sells the 5mm bore 32p pinons.

The cell count make a difference. If 12 cells the upper sound good. If more you have to cut back a touch.

Now for my question... I have 62, 66, and 70 t spurs and 14, 16, and 18t pinions. Which combo should I use to get the most speed out of my 9918/9L on 12 and 14 3300 cells?
Any suggestions on a motor that will work with my speedo for pure speed?
I run a mostly stock maxx that's extended 3"( keeps the front end down) and has driveshaft upgrades. It also has mad force tires on it(clod size).

If you are talking about high speed for speed runs or something like that you want the biggest pinion and smallest spur, acceleration would be other way around.

If you actually want to drive probably something in between...

I always suggest to get a range of pinions about 3 or 4 and switch them about to see which you prefer. Keep in the reccomended range or teeth for your setup though.
