:surprised:......... those are so cheap

try some and let us know. you got my interest.

I highly doubt that they are a true 20c but if they perform at least as good as my TrueRC paks then I will be happy. Think I am going to order a couple 4S 4k's and maybe a 5S 4k and see how they do..

They are smaller (13mm shorter) and lighter (40g) then Enerland cells of the same capacity.
It does make you wonder if they can perform at that 20c rating.

Sammus 01.29.2008 03:44 AM

These are rated for more and are cheaper... nuff said.

Serum 01.29.2008 11:35 AM

Yeah, glad you admit it; Rated higher.. not meaning theyhold their voltage better under a higher load.

The true RC's are even cheaper and i wouldn't be surprised if they hold their voltage better under load than both of the earlier mentioned cells do.

Some nice person posted some eagletree data from their run with the 5000mah 4s zippy lipos, they do seem to hold their voltage fairly well with a moderate load it seems:

Hello,
this is my first lipo, and I'm really impressed by its quality.

I have make a measure with my eagle-tree µlogger on a Hopf Nemesis mono 2 boat, with this setup :
feigao 12L - K40.5 propeller - turnigy plush 80A

example with a 90 seconds test run,
max. amp. = 70 A / min.voltage = 13.85v
Avg. amp. = 24 A / avg. voltage = 15.08v

feel free to read the line charts of the run here:

moreover, with this lipo, my boat is 300gr lighter than with 12 cells GP3700

thanks UH for this excellent product !

Those RCdymond cells are proper 10C cells, I can tell just by the size and weight. I would like to see if they could even hit 20C, I bet 15C would be squeezing them hard even for burst rate.

Still a good deal though.
