Wheels and spur conversions?
 

I have a Stampede and am looking at what it would take to change out the wheels and the gearing. Some where on the forums I read there is a conversion for the regular wheels that come on the stampede's to be changed out for Revo and Emaxx size wheels. What is needed? I also read about members changing the OEM gearing to Mod 1 gearing. Whats needed for that? Thanks.

Easiest gearing change is to go to jato 32p spur gears and 32p pinions. You can run them without the cover on and they are super sturdy.

You can upgrade to maxx size wheels with this adapter: 14mm adapter for pede

Those spacers are really long. Are the stock front wheels offset that much?

yup.

I think you'd be better of by going with something like these adapters:

And then going with offset MT wheels like the RPM Stablemaxx wheels.

PS I did try this and it really didn't handle to well and pretty hard on a small motor...
