Reggy Build Setup/Parts!!!

First- for all of you who are wondering what Reggy stands for, its Revo Electric Truggy.

Motor- Mega aCn 22/35/2
ESC- Quark 65 (The Mega only needs 60A max, so this should work fine.)
Battery- Flightpower 5s 2500mAh. only 2.5Ah because lutach says that'll be all I need.
Differentials- E-maxx 3905
Center Diff- X1X CRT
Steering- Xray XB8

Metal i'm using:
Stiffeners/CD mount/motor mount: 6061 1/4"
Chassis/other stuff: 7075 3mm
and some carbon fiber stuff thrown in there, vantage revo wing...

any input?

I would say to step up you battery capacity, if only for longer runtime. I have a few quark 65 escs and they are good controllers. I would try to keep the reggy as light as possible. You may be suprised what the mega motor can pull in the way of amps. Especially depending on your gearing.

Well, i will gear for high 30's or low 40's. Then i will calculate it.... lets see what happens.

Those lipos are 2200mAh and I got 23 minutes already out of them. That truck is tough, I ran it in a large parking lot at a park and lost signal. It went straight into a curb. The Flight Power is good, but ask Mike if he can get the Polyquest XQ with a 30C discharge or the Flight Power EVO30.

mmkay? 23mins on 2200mah? good enough for me! just for fun, ill get a 2s 12000mah true rc and see how long itll go for..... calculated, itll be 125.45 minutes. a little over 2hrs runtime works. :gasp:

I was looking through Hobbycity's site and saw that for the money, get this one http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=6378. It is $2 cheaper, but has more capacity. I see spikes of 90A and I'm using a 14T pinion and 49T spur.

yeah, but its 200g heavier. since i'm only using 1 battery pack, itll help weight balance to haev the lighter pack.
