One-way diff for CRT.5?
Does anyone know if there is a way to get a one-way diff for the crt.5. I'm mostly looking for it to be able to use the brakes in the air. I run 2.2 truck tires and with the diffs at 2/4/1 and when I tap the brakes the front drops too much.

If you keep the center diff, a one-way will prevent most motor braking as there won't be any resistance from the front wheels. Your best bet will be to use mech brakes and a micro servo.

I have the RCM Ext Chassis, so I don't really plan on going back to mech brakes. The electric brakes are really powerfull with my motor esc combo. It will actually lift the rear wheels off the ground. The track I drive is very high bite, so you don't need brakes too often, and most of the 10th scale 4X4 buggys run one-ways. Of course they also run a center slipper instead of a center diff, so that may make a difference.
I guess I could remove the front drive shaft for a quick test to see if the rear would be enough brakes? |
