newb to electric - thinking TC4 and BL system?

Hey all..

I am seriously considering getting a T4 FT kit and a BL setup. I dont think at the moment ill race it - if i do and its open mod whatever so be it......if I love electric ill perhaps invest in regular motor/esc but for now its all about having fun and going fast :)

Id like something to get me started, something that wont bore me being that my nitros are 40-50mph vehicles. I have a mamba in my 18t - Its alot of fun and I love the torque/speed. What would you recommend that wouldnt break the bank, but would satifsy any urg :).......

I also have a lipo charger so if you are recommending a lipo battery to compensate weight I can do that - Id think when your talking onroad weight does make a big difference with speed.

Lemme know what you all think....there are so many to choose from - hacker/novak/all these others I dont know anything about.

Also I know gearing has a fair amount to do with what you get out of a setup....Ill take that into consideration too.

THankssss :)

Short answer:
11.1 volt Lipo
MGM 80 amp controller
Lehner basic xl5000 or Feigao 8s with RCM heatsink/clamp or lehner basic 4200 or 5300

Either of these will allow you to keep up with the nitros on the top end, but with stronger acceleration. the smaller Lehner motors accelerate a little faster, but will also run a bit warm after some time(especially the 5300). I personally use a basic 4200 on 11.1 Lipos in my tc3, and can pretty easily dust the nitro cars in a drag race.
