Another plus for the KD direct drive is having...
Another plus for the KD direct drive is having reverse. Just be careful not to have it hit to hard or your in for some $$$. Make sure you program your esc curve to come into reverse a little slowly....

I've also noticed that you need to have the slipper pretty tight for the big motors. When you start to coil bind the little spring it will unevenly load the spur gear and cause it to spin in warped...

Hi, I just found this post and thought I'd share my project. I'm running on 6s power with a locked 2 speed tranny. I locked it by using my mig welder and tacked a weld on the arm to hold it in place....
