i had it at 13/46 with my old medusa and it got hot very quickly went to the castle neu but didnt try yht 13 pinion on that had 15 degrees on the medusa 0 on my current motor

ok tried to hook a fan/heatsink on the motor and the fan tap didn't work worked fine when i plugged it into the batt spot on the RX its a turnigy fan but didn't think that mattered? i had a medusa...

i'm interested in going fro 2 2s pack to one single 4s our track only allows up to 4s 5000mah packs i'm trying to see if the rules can be changed to maybe 6000mah limit looking for a good inexpensive...

ok i messed around with brian's calc at bit and depending on batt voltage looks like 50/16 gearing will get me a speed of around 32 MPH tht should be good enough for our track going to a 18t pinion...

ok......this is my set up medusa 2300kv motor until it burnt up over the weekend hobbywing 150a esc and 2 2s 7.4 5000mah lipos gearing was 13/46 bumped it up to 16/46 set the timing to 11.25 from 15...
