What are the dimensions of the battery tray, with the foam padding stuck on the walls, in the Associated e-conversion?

I need to know if my Turnigy 4S 5K pack is going to fit. It's dimensions are...

It certainly is a looker. I think there are more "Team Durango" laser etchings on it than actual parts in the car.

It's like a Ferrari; very expensive, exclusive, beautifully made and lovely to...

I find myself going through life with a teeth-bearing grin and a cigar in my mouth while humming the A-Team theme every five seconds.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this.

RCM MBX6 Conversions?

Has anyone used one of them? If so, how do you like it?

I may be the first to use one, if no one has yet. :na:

The X2 is a second-generation truggy, while the MBX5T is a first-generation. The X2 is lighter and more thoroughly engineered; it has the big-bore shocks and forward weight distribution common in...

You'll find much better parts support, stock and for electric conversions, for the Jammin. But the Tamiya is really cool because it's uncommon. I don't know too much about it besides that, but Lutz...

Maybe I should just do it, since this thread is generating some good debate on whether or not it will work. Problem is, I'm a cheapass and don't wanna spend $50 on a Zippy 5S pack.

I may end...

Because I'm on a budget, and I have more faith in my trusty MM than a MMM. Although now that I've thought about it more, I'm pretty much settled on a 4S/8XL setup rather than a 5S. I ran 4S/8XL in my...

Mamba Max on 5S in a truggy?

I've been dying to breathe life into my rolling RC8T for weeks now, but I'm on a budget. I've got a venerable old MM ESC lying in wait for it's next assignment, complete with a fan and Castle BEC. It...

Just for the record, I'd like to end this thread by saying that the motor was officially dead.

My friend took it apart and inspected the windings, and found a deep-rooted kink in a wire. He can't...

The motor is a Q-can design, with the mounts machined into the can to anchor it to the chassis. I always ran it in vehicles converted with Tekno kits, so it was always ran with the four screws...

Run it with the stock weights in it first to get a feel for it. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, gain some experience in tuning and experiment with different weights of oil.

There's no need...

I wouldn't bother with Neu motors either, myself. My 1512/2.5D/Q just crapped out on me after a 5-month life of sealed screw holes and temps under 160dF. I've never seen anyone have problems with the...

I tested the motor again without doing anything to remedy the bearing problem, and holy crap did it sound bad. Far worse than before, even! It wasn't as fast, either. It's honestly baffling to me as...

Loose front bearing slot on Neu motor

My Neu 1512/2.5D/Q had been running poorly and loudly in my RC8 for a little while. A few weeks ago, I took it out to have a look, and apparently there is a fraction of a gap between the outer edge...

Truggies turn slightly quicker laps than buggies, making them the fastest. Their large tires and large footprints give them a distinct advantage.
