WOW! I thought the "soldered in place" was the V3. SO i've been duped from the vendor stating it's V3!!!

Its funny, last night i was at a LHS. THey have V3 on the esc box, inside were battery...

I believe this is the V3...the batt wires are soldered in placed? V3? I couldn't tell if it burnt. Like mentioned...no see magic smoke and no burnt smell. The LSt wasn't more than 10 feet from me...
