I checked the settings with the programming card...

I checked the settings with the programming card and everything appears to be on the default setting still.

I'm curious, why would 0 degree timing burn out an esc, isn't less timing supposed to be...

I took a close look at the esc and noticed this....

I took a close look at the esc and noticed this. Looks like there is too much solder on the positive battery lead connection.

I just checked the page for a set of zippy lipos I just received and it says the same thing...BUT on the back of the actual pack it says never to charge above 1C. So i'd do it at your own risk.
