Patrick, what battery brand?

I have a 1/5 scale HPI Baja with an XLX on 8S. Your instructions say to use a 50C battery. What brand does Castle use to test? Many lipos claim huge C ratings, but what brand do you trust, Patrick?

Any chance for a motor mount to use larger motors like the Castle 2028? I like my X-Maxx, but it just screams for 8S power.

Yeah, I hope Patrick reconsiders. Higher voltage is really the way to go with these big scale rigs. I'm even thinking about the new Castle Hydra Ice HV.

I know how you feel. I've been waiting 4 weeks now for my Mamba XL to come back. Castle wrote and said they are in testing now after upgrading to version 3! I guess even version 2 had problems.
