I don't know if you can tell from the pics or not, but my batteries and main chassis is like 3-5 mm's lower than ANY spot on a stock nitro revo!!!

Although one plate would have definately been lighter :)..... I also have a carbon fiber main chassis I'm building for it to :)

I mounted the motor that high so that I could keep the motor dead center. The main chassis and battery spots are lower than they look. The chassis is like 2.5mm lower than the front and rear skid...

Thx for the warm welcome *RC* ..... I'm still debating on cutting battery slots on the chassis...... It will be time consuming :) Especially considering the only thing I have to cut with is a dremel...
