The ad says these batteries come with 12 gauge wire. That's a lie! Those are 14 gauge wire.

Mike, these are the batteries I bought and was talking about. The seller used thin tabs to connect the batteries together. I don't think they are thick enough because the plastic wrap over the tabs...

The wires on my BK are like 12 gauge wire, and the wires on my gp 3300 packs are smaller (like 14 gauge.) Are the wires on my batteries a limitting factor in my brushless setup?

Well, I just bought a 1/8 shaft motor because I didn't know where to get 5 mm pinions so I don't need any 5 mm pinions right now.

I'll just put the 1/8 pinion as close to the motor as possible.

If the performance of the 8L on 12 cells is about the same as the 9L on 14 cells, then why would anyone buy the 9L with 14 cells when they can save weight with the 8L?
