2 questions (servo + gearing)

Hello,

Just bought a MBX5 roller and I'm planning to transplant the electronics from my Revo into it. It's got a MMM + CC 2200kv combo in it.

Rule of thumb for CC-Neu motor heat?

Hello,

Just installed my 2200kv motor in my Revo 3.3 conversion. I have decently low gearing for bashing (16/40 on 5S, with a MMM), and although the motor temps are much much cooler than the 9XL...

Hello,

I just received my CC-Neu 2200 from Mike (very fast shipping!) and find the 3 wires on the motor *very* long. I know some wires cannot easily be cut and re-soldered.

A year later, is...

I get good results. It would be slightly slower than my 9XL on 20/38, which is perfect because current speeds are too great.

All I'll have to do is correct the acceleration curve for bashing.

I checked the measurements on my system, and even with the added length and width of the 2200, it's not going to touch the rear arms. I'm using Mike's motor mount.

Also, I know that the 2200 has...

I'm ready to upgrade that motor and was wondering what's the best motor for it. (I'm...

Using the formulas on the scriptorium, going from 20/38 to 16/40 means a 25% decrease in top speed, which will be fine by me. This will be easier on the motor, but will it also be easier...
