An aluminum tranny case in that Pede will cool the motor, IMO better than a fan and will last a lot longer. The FLM tranny case in my Rusty dropped motor temps 30º

My 4 pole 5700 does run a little cooler than my 2 pole but not a huge difference in heat, the big difference is in power and torque. Also the 4 pole 5700 makes my MM ESC run very hot, much more so...

I have no factual evidence but the "buzz" at my LHS is that the Castle facility was damaged by a recent Tornado and that is the reason they are having some of the issues they are right now.

Thanks for the replies. I reset the radio and did a recalibration and it appears to have fixed the issue. I guess the true test will come after I let the tuck sit over night and run it again tomorrow.
