It is a tight fit between the posts with an 8 cell 3700 pack, do you know for sure whether the CF retainer would work OK with this size of pack?

Gmaxx straps keep snapping!

I'm running 16 cell GP3700's on a CF Gmaxx chassis and nearly every time the truck takes a tumble one of the battery straps just shears right at the mounting plate. Does anyone else have this...

I've got a 10L/9918 running on a fairly heavy truck. I use both a 14 cell GP3700 set up and a 16 cell GP3700 setup and they are both brilliant. With a 51T OFNA spur and a 15t Mod1 pinion the truck...

I bought some GPM Ti driveshafts on Ebay, I don't think it was the best purchase I ever made. I've got slight bends on 2 of them and the wear on the drive cups has been pretty rapid. I've just...

I know I've thought about Lipos but for the time being I feel they are a step to far. When you told me they could have been the cause of your entire house burning down it kind of put me off!

Yeah, I think I might just buy a load of standard traxxas turnbuckles and then just bin them when they bend. At least that will create a cheap easily replaceable weakpoint.
Do you guys use thread...

It Keeps breaking!

I'm running a 10L/9918 with Gmaxx CF chassis and UE suspension, shocks, cvds etc. The speed of the truck is fantastic, especially on 16 cell GP3700's. Perhaps it's too quick for me or I'm a crap...

Sorry Toby
I think your spec is very good, personally I would go for a UE gen2 suspension over the Gmaxx suspension, 7075 versus 6061.. no contest. Also I'd opt for GA 7075 bulks.

The GP3700 are only 0.01 inch bigger in diameter over the 3300. With 8 flat cells this amounts to just a fraction over 2mm in length longer than an 8 cell 3300 pack. I really can't see a problem with...
