Yes, the straps do go back slightly before they go over the battery tops, so I don't think the CF would work. Maybe somebody has tried it already?

I'm running 16 cell GP3700's on a CF Gmaxx chassis and nearly every time the truck takes a tumble one of the battery straps just shears right at the mounting plate. Does anyone else have this...

I've got a 10L/9918 running on a fairly heavy truck. I use both a 14 cell GP3700 set up and a 16 cell GP3700 setup and they are both brilliant. With a 51T OFNA spur and a 15t Mod1 pinion the truck...

I bought some GPM Ti driveshafts on Ebay, I don't think it was the best purchase I ever made. I've got slight bends on 2 of them and the wear on the drive cups has been pretty rapid. I've just...

Yeah, I think I might just buy a load of standard traxxas turnbuckles and then just bin them when they bend. At least that will create a cheap easily replaceable weakpoint.

I'm planning on running a 10L/9918 on 16 cells using a 15T Mod 1 pinion and an OFNA 51T Spur. Has anyone got any thoughts on what spur material works best..stock plastic, delrin or steel.

Sorry Toby
