Nothing that interesting in the end - I'm too cheap. Mamba Max 4600 with a 3S Kokam 4800 20C pack. It's pretty quick :)

For solderring connectors and stuff it's best to have a 40W+ iron, an 18W PCB iron will just heat everything up rather than letting...

I love fast things...but the Lehner 5300 is just too much on 3S and that will put the truck on it's lid at pretty much any speed if i peg...

I did look at the Neu...but for what i'm doing (bashing and just very casual racing...the Lehner 5300 on 2 cells is plenty for waxing the nitros already...but I've got some 3 cells now...

I'm looking at getting another motor, which will be suitable for both 2 and 3 cell Lipo running (like insane on 3 cell, easy to handle on 2)

right now I'm leaning towards a Wanderrer 9S or...

Those Apogee cells are brilliant - With that setup you would be pushing 3.2kW+ continuous with ease, I imagine 5kW would be possible in bursts :D

Nothing was more than slightly warm, but i was getting cold and my Tx was flat so i stopped after 5...

Well the draw is 'supposedly' 106A, and the motor is rated for 1000W (which would make sense on a 3S pack under load), although I agree the draw is likely to be substantially higher... especially...

The two i would look at are the Trinity and the CVEC.
