it seems as if everytime i read something about...

it seems as if everytime i read something about these chinese motors they seems to be almost always be reporting that the motors were very hot after a relatively short run.

You're still using the same plastic drive shafts with a brushless conversion after nearly 2 years? What motor/esc/batt setup are you using? What about diffs?

Why do you guys choose revos over savages to convert?

I have a 3.3 revo and I understand it's a bit lighter and all but I would think that the savages would be more suitable for these crazy BL conversions as they need quite a bit less in the way of...

Austin Else has assured me that 2 x 3S2P 6000mah packs is more than safe for operation in my savage. So I went ahead and bought it today (along with lehner 1950/8 from here).

Last Question I promise - 1950/8 of 7 turn for Savage

I am using a 3 speed tranny with my Savage 4.6 kit on 40 series wheels/tires. I have carbon fibre tvps, 6061 aluminum suspension arms all around, as well as nova racing shock towers.

In a nutshell, I trust Chris Fine with anything brushless. According to him the LST2 does 0-40mph in 3 secs. It's a 2HP system that maxes out around 45mph. Other than what is listed on his website...

I'm having a hard time making a decision for my purchase. I currently race with an HPI Super RS4 with 1920/8, Schulze 18.97 with 14.4 volts of Gp 3300s. Bloody thing is insane....
