Need gearing help.

So im converting a 6T to electric. Gonna be running a MMM, Tekin 1400 on 6s 5800 30c. I was thinking 16t, but i was just guessing.

I wasnt sure if i should go 5s or 6s with a 1700kv motor. How do you find your power? Got any videos? Is 5s enough? Thinking about going 5000 5s or 5000 6s. both will be 40c.

I was told that the gears in the Slayer tranny are geared higher then the Revo tranny. Anyone know if this is true? If it is, I wonder if it would be beneficial to switch my Revo gears for the Slayer...

Then do what teknorc said. But I would 1st check the length of the shaft before you cut it.
