I did the same using a summit trans a few months ago
it works wonderful but you are going to have to upgrade the slipper.

Going to try it this week, just got to get some more male traxxas connectors and I'm good to go. Going in my ofna gtpe going to give it a good 6S try, we will see how it holds up.

Looks good. going to give it a try soon. the specs in the manual looks better than on the ebay page and the wiring is 12Ga and I didnt see anything about a motor limit

Relocated the batteries
Moved the batteries to the sides, made a simple tray that is mounted between the frame and lower skid plate and mounter 2 rc monster universal battery trays

Good eye that is lutach 10s 120 amp esc. Had it for a while and never had a problem. I don't think the trans will brake that easy with a properly set slipper and if it does its cheep to fix.
