very true, many think putting a li-poly in an enclosed container will prevent a fire, but as you pointed out it doesn't need an external source for iginition/combustion to occur.

heh I just want something that can handle a powerful BL setup without stripping diffs/pinions/etc. The minquake and detta are good to a point, but I think a .5 CRT will be my next RC.

if it broke at the box and you can't solder close enough, open the box and solder the wire.

You can even buy a new receiver wire if you don't want a soldered wire....
