The Bk9920WK is water cooled, has forward , reverse, brakes (but I think its non-proportional), it has water splash protection and it is a lot heavyer but the heat sink and water cooling are both within the heat shrink so it would negate the benifit of the extra heatsink mass and may well run hotter than a car controller with exposed heatsink (unless your thinking of a radiator for it).

Unless you think youve been frying your ESCs from water ingress not heat? in which case a splashproof controller would seem like a very good idea.

Personaly if I fried 3 of the same controllers, there is no way I would buy a 4th.

Is it for your Revo with 9L? Lots of peeps buy the BK for high voltages and the 9L is quite high KV, so may I ask How many volts you are puting into it? With what gearing inc wheels? It could be a very hot setup and you need a big MGM, Schultze, (or MMM when it arives) to cope with the amps, or need to tone it down with gearing.

I think $150 is very good for the MM combo I've seen them around $200 often. Why not get the MM combo for your 1/10th scale and try the MM ESC in your revo, if it works Great. If not you have found out you realy do need a monster ESC for it for a lot less than a new BK woud cost, as CC will fix it for $50 then you can use it again in your 1/10th scale.
