Someone gave me the MGT as sort of a thank you for converting his Losi 8ight. When I got it, it didn't have a roll bar on it and I didn't realize that it was supposed to. I haven't had any issues with it at all.

You already have the motor and esc covered and since you went with the 1Y, you're pretty much stuck (if you want to call it that) with 4S. Get yourself a Hyperion LBA10 balancer and order a couple of 4S2P 8Ah packs with the hyperion taps on them from max amps. This will get you running and keep you running.
