Center Drive Cups for 9L/9920 E-Maxx -
05.12.2007, 11:19 AM
I've got a brushless E-maxx with some RC-Best Center CVDs. Recently, I have been having problems with the drive cups. They are getting little indents on them from the bone that cause a jackhammer motion of the shaft. It creates lots of vibration, noise, and heat. The actual shafts and the CVD part are just fine, no pin failures or anything, but the cups are giving me lots of trouble.
If anyone could tell me how to fix this problem, I would be grateful.
The Traxxas message board suggested that I get FLM dogbones from mike, but $50 is too much to spend on them. Would it be possible to just buy a couple drive cups?
I have also been considering some REVO centers, but I would be afraid that the yokes would break easily. Are the REVO yokes strong enough to hold up to brushless power?
Thanx,
Brijar!!!
