Well, many run the 7XL on 4S and like them alot. Just keep an eye on the temps.

The motor heatsink is a requirement, unless you go with a "C" motor, which has the integrated cooling fins, but is also know to loose its endbells. I prefer the smooth can motors with the motor clamp heatsink.
