That would be cool, it would cut my battery weight almost in half and boost me 1.7 volts, not to mention the increased run time. The 4S would more than cut the weight in half. I think that's going to be the answer to being certain I can run an entire 20 min MT main at the local track.
How much do you think the extra 1.7v will raise my motor/ESC temps over my current (14)IB set up? I'm kind of leaning toward the 4s just for the safety factor to avoid overheating. I can gear it back to the same speed I have now.
