Just for clarification, a Novak SS motor could be used with a Mamba Max ESC?

I am curious about this because I have a Novak motor that I would like to use, but the ESC does not work. And I would like to try the motor with my MM.

Does anyone have any experience with this, or is it just a common knowledge thing?
