I read some where that the quark likes the neu's, because of something to do with timing, but I don't think the difference I saw could be that big if it was just timing and since the batteries weren't as hot as well, I don't think it draws as much current.

Do you mean the crown gear screws come loose on the diffs? My FLM cups have done that twice now.
